Great addition to my kitchen

This is such a powerful blender. It crushes ice and frozen fruits with ease. I’ve made plenty of smoothies for myself and my kids so far and we have not been disappointed yet. It’s very user friendly and easy to clean. I love that the bottom blade comes apart so it makes it easy to clean and not cut yourself while doing it. I also appreciate the pour spout from the lid which helps my kids not be so messy. The travel cup has been very convenient to use on the go as well.

Last about 5 months, then must be replaced

These run great for 3-5 months, then stop working or start smoking, start making bad noises, or all of the above. I’ve been through 3 of these now, and I’m not buying any more of this brand.

Very Innovative Product

I love , love, love using my new Hamilton Beach blender. It is so versatile, easy to use and easy to clean. I made mango smoothies, which came out so good, I made beet juice, this blender is so powerful, it cut right through those beets, it was so delicious. The travel jar is a big plus, I also love the pour spout, makes pouring so much easier and less messy.

Okay but I expected to be better

Hamilton Beach 2-in-1 blender with Travel jar Featuring on the box, - patented no-mess pouring spout ( it does work; spout work perfectly with no mess, lid also seals pretty well) - patented wave~action for ultra smooth result (Tried to make smoothie a couple time it works okay but it doesn’t crush seed of strawberries and blackberries) - stainless steel ice saber( it crushes but without water added, it fillies and skipped) -quieter blending with patented design motor( it’s doesn’t seem as impressive as it is said, fan blows air and make lots of noise) - extra 20oz travel jar (it’s helpful to have, I can make smoothie without messing with a big jar but it will be nice to have better quality since I carried outside. Over all it a good blender for its price range and can’t expect to get much more.

Decent blender with some nice features

This blender has a few nice features, but when it comes down to it, it is still a mid-level blender. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do - blend food/drinks. Pros: Personal jar is a nice option to blend and go without having to switch to another cup. Pouring spout is a nice feature. Cord storage option is nice to keep everything organized. Clean up can be made very simple as all components are dishwasher safe. Controls are very simple with only 2 speeds and a “pulse” button. Cons: Claim of “quieter blending” is questionable - don’t buy this thinking you will be able to use it while the baby is sleeping, it’s still a blender after all! Tried pureeing some sweet potatoes for a recipe and it only did a fair job with the thicker food. Instructions for personal jar are a little confusing - they say to put the blade and collar on and THEN add ingredients. With the blade assembly and collar on the jar, it is closed and there is no way to add anything! Followed blending tips to make a smoothie in the personal jar and the protein powder I had added didn’t blend into the smoothie and made a big mess when I took off the collar and blade assembly (see photos). Overall, not a bad blender for occasional home use. If you are going to use your blender daily or need to blend/mix thicker ingredients, I would recommend a more powerful, higher quality machine.
