"Wooden Divider Loose & Wobbly...Crock HUGE!!

The wooden divider didn't rest evenly on the inside rim of the stoneware crock and I knew that would have presented a problem because the divider wouldn't have stayed secure when I was trying to remove utensils while I was cooking. It also wasn't stained or varnished to create an authentically rustic look! Ms. Stewart should consult with Interior Designers who would advise her that certain items like this crock need to be scaled down to fit the size of an apartment countertop —Not the kitchen of her mansion. The crock was almost 2-3 times the size described in the ad! I was REALLY looking forward to having this Crock right next to my stove while I was cooking!...Disappointed!

Attractive, nice and large, keeping this!!

I still “love” this even though the wood separator in the middle is not stable. I’m quite sure you can permanently glue the wood piece to the ceramic and fix this issue. I needed an attractive, large utensil holder and this fits the bill. It’s pretty, but it’s deep, so I keep all of my “longest” utensils in this, but use a shorter one for all the others. One star off for the wood piece that won’t stay put.

DISAPPOINTING

I ordered this thinking it was a functional nice addition to my countertop. Be advised that the insert or divider does not stay in place and it is a little too large of a crock.

Crock Ideal for Large Tools

I'm giving this 4/5 stars because the wooden insert is not terribly stable, and can easily be displaced by heavier utensils. It is however, very large and pretty! When I first ordered this item it came completely smashed, and luckily I was able to return it and purchase another, so despite it's shortcomings I do like it very much and would recommend it.
