Beautiful but very heavy and thick

This is probably on me for not understanding the description of this item. When I think of a "placemat" I'm picturing something flexible or floppy like fabric or silicone or something. These are very hard, and are more like super heavy placemat-sized coasters.. They are beautiful but they just weren't what I was looking for.

Like Spode product, but they are damaged

Love this brand, the pattern is a little bigger than the image shown. So it means it looks more crowded. And all four have a damaged corner.

Great idea!

I actually ordered these by mistake & I'm so glad I did. I line them up across the middle of our table & put all the serving pieces on them. It doesn't matter if anything is spilled because you can just wipe them off with a damp sponge or cloth. It keeps our fabric tablecloth clean. I thought I was ordering fabric placemats but these turned out to be such a great idea & they are very pretty!

Always wanted these Christmas Tree placemats and these have not disappointed. They are large, heavy-duty and seem to be durable. They are a hard surface and sturdy - not flimsy or flexible. Very easy to clean.
