Would not recommend

Very Disappointed in this cookware especially with the price I paid. Everything you cook will stick to the pan, you will need to use Bar Keeper Cleanser every time you wash your pots if not food will remain stuck to the bottom. VERY disappointed

Since stainless steel is not nonstick, you need to use oil or butter to prevent the food from sticking to the pan. We also suggest removing food from the refrigerator 10 minutes before you intend to cook as ice-cold food will more likely to stick to a hot pan. If you are searing, sautéing, frying and stir-frying, you may use medium-high heat, and medium heat setting for reducing liquids, pancakes, sandwiches, and omelettes. Beautiful to look at but terrible to cook on

the 13 piece set is absolutely beautiful but it’s a disaster when you want to use it. Everything sticks and stains. I cooked hamburgers on one of the pans and spend over 30 minutes scrubbing it afterwards and some of the stains wont come out. Save yourself the trouble and buy non stick cookware.

Beautiful pans... with a CATCH!

My wife and I just recently purchased the Calphalon Contemporary Stainless 13 pic cookware set. The set is beautiful and eye catching. However, when cooking with the pans no matter how low you set your burner to the pans, food will stick. (We attempted to cook eggs on a setting of 3 and still had broken and eggs sticking to the pan). We do not recommend going with this product.

Love it!!

I watched this set for some time On multiple sites. Received a blessing when I saw it on clearance for less than half it’s original price...thanks Macy’s!! My food tastes great with it & I’m so impressed with its weight, it’s even heating, and the set overall! Couldn’t ask for a better buy! Note to new stainless steel users...Barkeeper’s Friend is essential in keeping your stainless steel cookware looking and performing great!

Love this set.

This set is very lux for sure. I used most but not all. They are heavy and hence the lux comment. They clean up well with a steel brush head. I burnt one from frying chicken and it did stein pretty badly. I tried all kinds of remedies and didnt get 100% but I guess it was my fault. Overall, great!

Disappointing

I bought the contemporary set last month. I'm overall happy with the size and appearance of the set but for the quality, I'd expected a better result. I have used the 3 pans so far and when you cook even on a medium flame it tends to stick which was least expected this being heavy bottom.
